Post Holidays, New Year
Hey everyone.
I have been so busy with the holidays, that I didn’t even realize how long it had been since I had posted something! Sorry!!
I wanted to touch base with all of you about the New Year! So many people use this time to really reset their focus, set goals, and get their butt into gear for another trip around the sun. Well, I don’t really use this time for that. Instead, I use this time to just keep going! Because so many of the wonderful things I have added into my life are really what keep me strong throughout the year and reflecting on how much I love those things is what helps me know what defines me and what things I want to always continue doing.
Some of these things include snowboarding, fitness, healthy food and healthy lifestyle choices, dōTERRA, Vega, and so much more.
This morning at the gym I received the greatest compliment an avid fitness goer can really get (I think). I had my great friend and gym partner, Fianna, and one of the local personal trainers at our gym, tell me I need to get my PT Cert, because I would make a great personal trainer. Oh...flattered to say the least...(I think I may have blushed). So, perhaps I will keep going with this fitness thing and take it to the next level and get certified?? (I don’t know. What do you think?)
Here are some of my favorite tips for you guys looking to jumpstart your fitness (and every) goals for this next 2018 year:
Motivate essential oil: I cannot tell you how much this oil has really changed my life just in the last few months since I started using it! I use motivate for that pick me up I need right before a hard workout, heading off to my second (or first) job, and even before getting off the couch after a long day to start cooking dinner. Learning to accept ourselves while we pursue our goals is a huge part of us being able to reach them. And if you don’t reach them within the timeframe you set for yourself, be forgiving of your setback. Be gentle on yourself for the delay. And be proud of yourself for the fact that you are trying.
